Don't stop on the mountaintop

One of the struggles of church today relates to the forgotten art of reaching the mountaintop in our relationship with God -just like Jesus did- and at the same time reaching the valley where real people are, with real needs, real concerns and real problems, just like Jesus did.

At Olympic we aim to be like that, to do as Jesus did, to seek the presence of God and have as much as we can of a "mountaintop experience" with the Holy Spirit while at the same time do our best to be relevant to those who live next to us in our community. But not relevant in our words only; rather, to be relevant people first who have a relevant message.
